This unparalleled training program truly prepares the instructor to understand the physical, mental and emotional issues of the pre/post natal client. This 16 hour intense certification course is geared towards the experienced instructor who can assimilate information quickly.
This two-day course covers two modules towards the Women’s Health and Exercise Certification.
- Overview of pelvic floor during pregnancy and postpartum
- Prenatal Pilates on the Mat and/or Equipment
- Postnatal Pilates on the Mat and/or Equipment
The information is formatted to become a single program that will allow the instructor to take their client through pregnancy, into the early postnatal period and progress to a regular postnatal session. The exercise programs are linked through each period for maximum benefit to the client.
This course is the best way to learn how to teach your pre/post natal client, and is part of the new Women’s Health Pilates Specialist Certification. Instructors may take this course as an individual module.
It is highly recommended that all students take the Support your Floor course prior to attending this 2-day course ( see calendar for London dates).
