Saturday February 4
ROCKING TO RELEASE™ – MYOFASCIAL RELEASE TECHNIQUES FOR PILATES INSTRUCTORS (6 hours)
This course will teach you several different ways to release fascial constrictions on the clients’ body. We will utilize the props found in the Pilates studio as well as hands on assist techniques to aid in the release of fascia surrounding the muscles. Our new method includes using rocking movements to help release fascia.

PRE & POST NATAL PILATES SPECIALIST CERTIFICATION™
The Center for Women’s Fitness pre and post natal Pilates programs have been designed to “Prepare the body for Birth™” and to “Repair the body after the Birth™”These programs are holistic in nature and work according to nature’s schedule with the help of the mind/body exercise system of Pilates.
These 3 days include:
- SUPPORT YOUR FLOOR™- PELVIC FLOOR HEALTH (Sunday, 8 hours)
This program aims to dispel most of the “myths” regarding the functioning of the pelvic floor and the problems that seem to arise from the misinformation. We will teach you the correct function the the two layers of the pelvic floor muscles and how, when they function correctly can eliminate most of the problems we are seeing today. Once this is understood, we will share with you the movement that creates health through release work, strengthening and stretching of this area to create suppleness and functionality.
- PRE/POSTNATAL PILATES ON THE MAT ONLY (Monday, 8 hours)
Learn anatomy, physiology and program design for the three trimesters. Includes exercises on the Mat and Equipment.
- PRE/POSTNATAL PILATES MAT and EQUIPMENT (Tuesday 8 hours)
Learn anatomy, physiology and program design for postnatal. Includes exercises on the Mat and Equipment
Wednesday February 8
THE CENTER METHOD FOR DIASTASIS RECTI RECOVERY™ (8 hours)
The Center’s updated and innovative program for the correction of diastasis recti. Learn to recognize the causes and symptoms of this condition, how to prevent it from happening and the healing exercises that may help.
Thursday February 9
PILATES FOR MENOPAUSE™ (8 hours)
Friday February 10
PILATES FOR MENOPAUSE EQUIPMENT (8 hours)
This program will instruct the experienced Pilates Teacher on the the physiology of a menopausal woman and how to apply Pilates exercises to clients who are currently experiencing menopause or have finished the process. The program utilizes Pilates based exercises on the mat and equipment as well as breathing and relaxation techniques to aid in issues such as anxiety and stress. Innovative exercises on the Mat and Equipment are shown.
