Natalie has 18+ years of teaching experience in diverse fitness areas, including over 10 years working with prenatal and postpartum clients. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of WI- La Crosse and her graduate degree from The University of Denver. Natalie’s background in fitness started in her early years with competitive dance. After the birth of her first child, she was shocked to discover that her conventional fitness approach paired with Pilates did not provide her with a perfect pregnancy, an easy labor, or the ability to leave the hospital in her pre-pregnancy jeans. This realization inspired her to do more research to increase her understanding and awareness around pregnancy, childbirth, and the changing female body. This journey was humbling for her. It allowed her to be human and connect with other humans through movement, understanding, and most importantly, healing.
