Course DescriptionĀ

Sensa BallĀ® Training

This course introduces The Carolyne Anthony Method of self-myofascial release using our specially-designed Sensa Balls and PodsĀ® alongside 4 key foundational principles: Regulate, Release, Realign, and RestoreĀ®. It explores how soft, responsive tools can be used to awaken sensory awareness, reduce myofascial tension, and promote a deeper body-mind connection, ideal for use with clients who are navigating pregnancy, postpartum healing, pelvic floor dysfunction, and menopause.

What You’ll Learn

Sensa BallĀ® Training is suitable for fitness instructors and healthcare professionals looking to gain an in-depth understanding of integrative, fascia-focused movement therapy through proven techniques grounded in somatic science and experiential anatomy.

This in-person Ā myofascial release course will allow you to:

  • Use breath and sensory stimuli for nervous system regulation
  • Increase interoception through exteroceptive stimuli
  • Learn slow sensory repatterning through gentle pressure
  • View fascia as an integrated web that links all body systems
  • Adapt these techniques for clients throughout all life stages

Sensa Ball®Training At-A-Glace

  • Lecture Outline
    • The 12 Core Concepts of Sensa BallĀ® self-myofascial release
    • Unique physical properties of the Sensa BallĀ® (size, texture, density, elasticity)
    • Why softness matters
    • Applications for trauma, chronic pain, hypertonicity, and postural realignment
    • Support for pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and aging
  • Practical Outline
    • Breath and movement sequences for central nervous system regulation
    • Practical sequences using exteroceptive stimuli, pace, and flow
    • Interoceptive awareness through fundamental movement and breathwork
    • Dorsal, ventral, and lateral bodywork

Rocking to ReleaseĀ®

Rocking to ReleaseĀ® is a neuroregulation technique that uses gentle movement to coax the nervous system into a parasympathetic state, promote fascial hydration & elasticity, and let go of both muscular & emotional tension. This self myofascial release method is rooted in the primal soothing mechanism of rhythmic motion that originates in utero and extends across the human lifespan. Where our Sensa BallĀ® training awakens awareness through exteroceptive input, Rocking to ReleaseĀ® shifts the focus to movement-based unwinding, mobilizing the fascia and re-educating the body through rhythm and flow.

What You’ll Learn

Rocking to ReleaseĀ® is suitable for movement educators, somatic practitioners, physical therapists, Pilates instructors, and fitness professionals seeking myofascial release courses online or in-person. You will be guided through a progressive sequence of rocking movements in which the body assumes various planes and positions to access different fascial lines and neural pathways. Each sequence is layered with specific elements (pace, breath, focus, and flow) to help deepen the release.

This in-personĀ myofascial release course will allow you to:

  • Enhance interoception and proprioception
  • Unwind fascial restrictions that traditional stretching or strengthening may not reach
  • Improve fluidity, mobility, and postural integration
  • Experience whole-body release that is responsive, not forced
  • Self-regulate the body through somatic awareness
  • Cultivate a deeper relationship with the body’s innate intelligence

Rocking to ReleaseĀ® At-A-Glance

  • Lecture Outline:
    • The 12 Concepts of Rocking to ReleaseĀ®
    • Enhancing proprioception and interoception through rhythm
    • Micro-to-macro movement progression
    • Applications for trauma, chronic pain, hypertonicity, and postural realignment
    • Support for pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and aging
  • Practical Outline
    • Relaxation alignment cueing
    • Introduction to subtle somatic movement
    • Moving through multiple planes in one sequence
    • Dorsal rocking for spinal decompression
    • Lateral rocking for fascial unwinding along the lateral lines
    • Ventral rocking for fascial hydration through anterior chain & pelvic floor integration
