Jaclyn was introduced to Pilates when she was recovering from a back and arm injury.
Having experienced the benefits of Pilates, she decided to turn her passion into a career. She completed her Pilates teaching certification with Polestar Pilates (USA) in both the Comprehensive series and Reformer series (2009).
Moving on, she noticed how Pilates exercises benefited her pre- and post-natal clients. Inspired by this special population, she completed The Center For Women’s Fitness (TCFWF) Pre & Post Natal Pilates Specialist Certification (2010) and began working extensively with this population of clients. Thus, beginning her journey to understand the bodies of this special population in a more in-depth level, and to assist them in their journey to life’s greatest miracle.
In 2017, she became a faculty member of TCFWF.
Over the years, her work has brought her interest to another special group of clients. The scoliosis population. This led her to discover the immense value of Pilates as an exercise based program in managing scoliosis that also improves their functional movements.
In her commitment to provide a better quality of education and training, she has since worked in developing her knowledge under experienced Scoliosis Educators (USA) that are members of the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS) and Scoliosis Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Treatment (SOSORT).
The year 2021, brings another goal into her life. She is leading the team that is developing a Pilates curriculum that allows her to share her experiences and knowledge with aspiring Pilates instructors.
