Jade took her first Pilates class in 1996 at the world class music and dance conservatoire Trinity Laban, where she trained as a professional dancer. In 2001 Jade was the first person at Trinity Laban to study and qualify in Pilates with the Pilates Foundation UK and helped to build the comprehensive programme. Her tutors were some of the Foundation’s Master teachers, as the programme brought together leaders within the field of Pilates, Somatics, Movement Therapy and Holistic Health. A unique experience which put the Trinity Laban Pilates programme at the forefront of training in the UK.

Jade became a senior teacher within her first year working at Trinity Laban and was promoted to run the injury clinic on both the undergraduate and postgraduate dance programmes. Jade helped carry out research in to core stability and balance for Trinity Laban’s pioneering screening programme run by Laban’s Dance Science team.

In 2007 Jade became Head of Pilates on the BA(HONS) Dance Theatre programme and Manager of the Trinity Laban Pilates studio, which by then was the largest training studio in the UK and led a team of sixteen elite Pilates teachers. During this time Jade organised courses with many international somatic movement practitioners and therapists. Jade has been an examiner for Trinity Laban Pilates teacher training programmes and at the University of East London.

In 2012 Jade launched her own studio at home in Bromley, London. She has a small team of teachers and therapists and continues to organise courses and offer teacher training. Her teaching style is influenced by developmental movement patterning, experiential anatomy and somatics.
